I am a contractor with several current clients and many hot prospective clients. I have a mixed background that began in the really old days of operations and development. I've evolved through a range of support, training, multimedia, analysis and documentation roles. This diversity means I have arrived at a point of delivering diverse and unusual training programs. I now want to incorporate interactive games into these training programs. I have no background in games development, although I've just started dabbling. While dabbling has been fun and helps me to get a feel for the possibilities of what I can provide my clients, my clients and I don't have time for me to learn how to be a great games developer. Furthermore I need to ensure they receive a professional product. So I'm looking for an experienced games developer who can produce something that looks polished and professional for a substantial corporate/engineering/manufacturing market as well as a range of others that I'm looking towards. This is a commercial venture for me, so I'm not expecting freebees. However, I'm just starting out with this specific concept, so I would need negotiate the terms of course. For example, with this first client, it's strictly on a pay on delivery basis - his terms not mine. So each client may present a different payment situation until I get established enough to drive the terms. However, as I said, I'm happy to discuss terms. As mentioned, I already have my first client - so this means I also have an urgent requirement for some immediate development work. Immediately after that work has been done, I have another client who is waiting to see the results. If they like what they see, I'm confident they will want to go ahead as well. While this is happening, I have 4 other very hot prospects waiting in the wings. As a professional documentor and trainer, I will produce all associated documentation, training material, tutorials, online help, whatever. As an experienced contractor, I'll find the business and provide the work. There are no guarantees, this is not a permanent job offer. I don't know how much work this will generate, but I'm aiming at it being 'lots'. I tend to think it would be great if I can find someone who is reasonably local to me, say in Sydney or environs/Blue Mountains - so that if there's a need to get together to discuss things - its doable. However, maybe I'm just being old-fashioned and distance may not really be an issue. If you think you can help me out as I said, my need is quite urgent. So please drop me a line, tell me about yourself, and I can then give you more detailed info so we can get this thing up and running. Thanks, Peta
