I'm making a basic 2d pong game and wanted to distribute an alpha to the artist and some friends. So i created a Visual Studio Deployment Project and I added the dependencies for which I think I am using, but the .msi file is coming out to a whopping 35 megs. Here is a screenie from the solution explorer to see what I am adding: screenie This is just a basic 2d pong game. What can any of you guys guess from that screenie that is useless or overkill and can take out? On a side question. How do people distribute their program by having an exe, a couple dlls and their graphics inside a zipped folder? are all they are doing is installing the msi and copying everything out that the msi created into a folder they distribute? thanks, jlewicki [Edited by - jlewicki on April 10, 2007 4:03:17 PM]
