I have compiled ogg and vorbis distributions by importing the ms visual c projects that acompany them and translate to Dev projects. But, for some reasom, when i try to compile the examples the linker says that the functions of ogg and vorbis headers are undefined references. Why? If I type the correct library name in the linker parameters in the projects options page. The result is the same trying to link dynamic or static. GetProcAddress returns null and when i call getlasterror the message says: "the specified process does not exists". Is it a bug of Dev-cpp? Help me, please.

Moving to General Programming.

I also suggest you don't use Dev-C++ if it's possible for you to use Code::Blocks/GCC or MS Visual C++ Express.

Off course, the perfect solution is to use the same compiler the project file belongs to but I can't right now. Somebody help me find a solution for dev-cpp, please. I work some time a day in this (well, not really all days, I have others projects to think in) but I could not find a solution yet.

Thanks you anyway for your time, Kylotan.

Maybe I found a solution.

When you open the dll with a Hex editor (like the one I working on), at the end of file where the strings representing the name of functions must be, there says for example: _ogg_stream_init in place of ogg_stream_init, so I downloaded the dll files from sites dedicated to dll download service. I found each dll (ogg.dll, vorbisenc.dll, vorbisfile.dll, etc) and downloaded them. This way my code worked. Maybe if I replace the name of each function by adding "_" in front of them in the Header file I can get working code too, but I don't sure if try this makes sense since I already got my code work correctly.
