He meant Visual Basic .NET. The .NET is not necessarily a website, it is a programming platform.

If you have trouble learning VB.NET, even though you already know another Basic variant, I would definitely suggest that you stay with Blitz Basic until you are competent enough to move to another language. Switching languages now will not gain you anything, and will possibly even result in failure.

Hello Bongo,
The idea is to make a multiplayer RPG?
If u want something easy, easier than VB.Net, I suggest VB6. It's old stuff, deprecated, but u'll probably find many examples & working on it may help u to learn so then u can move to VB.Net (or C#).

If u want to do it for network play, a rather cool option I found is DirectPlay (it's a component that u use for the network part, but don't get involved in that yet!)

In one hand or another, it is important that u learn the basis of programming (it's pretty the same in all the languages). Since that, then u can focus in different languages. There are many web sites that may teach with examples. Try "programming tutorial" or smth like this in Yahoo!

Good luck!

P.D.: Try not to be anchored to VB6 or any language like that because they are outdated, deprecated! Take them as a starting point but nothing more 'cause u'll waste time!

I typed "blitz basic tutorials" into Google, and a number of sites came up.
Also, I thought Blitz came with some tutorials and examples when you bought it?
Try Google yourself.
