I may be interested, but I need to know some things first.

What are your qualifications? Did you make those images on your webpage yourself? Did you make the models, or write the engine code? What would be your role in the development process? What is your current occupation, and how many hours are you willing to spend on the project?

I don't have any formal qualifications. I was taught for about 2 years by the Exec. Producer of Uplink Studios about team management, creative thinking, general planning and what not, and am still in very close contact with him.

I made everything you see on that webpage (logos, graphics, everything). I do not code, beyond a rough understanding and modifying of simple scripts. I only make the models. That's part of the reason I am starting so small (possibly just a simple text based game), so that we can move everything forward at a gradual pace. And that's why I am just starting out with designers, so we can lay a foundation and bring on more people if we need them.

My role would be general team leadership, making sure everything is coming into place. I would also plan on giving creative direction, and, if we went commercial, handling most the responsibilities of publishers, investors, and business planning.

I currently do not have an occupation, as I just moved to Michigan and the job market is dead here. I went to CC for 3 semesters, and hope to resume in the future, but right now I have no occupation. How much time am I willing to devote? It depends on how much time is needed, but overall I can devote several hours a day to it.

I am willing to share design and story ideas. But I want to know what is your plan for your first game as my designs and ideas are not meant for text based games. They are based for RTS or Third Person Adventures.

I was thinking something simple along the lines of Zork. I would love to do an RTS or something, but starting with a very small goal and attaining it as a team is the main thing I am trying to accomplish. If you think you have some good ideas that might fit, feel free to email or PM me. But only if you want to work with a team, I don't really like the idea of just using someones elses ideas unless they are involved.

If you find a 2D/Sprite artist and a programmer we could do a 2D adventure game. I have some magic gameplay design I want to see coming.

Oh and I'll be part of the team, I just want to make sure I actually found the team with which I can make my ideas come true.

Hey, I might be interested to tag along. I also have a web domain I purchased from godaddy not too long ago and its still blank because I'm not the ideal web programmer.
Anyways, with skills like your, why not go all out? I could help you. I use Blender, XSI and ZBrush Like Erez87 said, it could be something like a 3rd person adventure game.

Heres a few pics of my work.

small update:

We have a coder/designer.

Although we are looking for designers, realize that we are looking to make historically proven ideas (FPS, RPG's, RTS, Arcade games, racing, sims, etc.). We want to take familiar games and improve on them, so we can target the largest audience. And also realize as an designer, don't come to the team with expectations as to having you concept or idea executed. We are working together to accomplish goals.

And to all artists, right now we don't really need them since their isn't a ton of art to do. But if you can design as well, that's great.

I never said go all the way, I just said that something too old fashioned may not be so good, just becuase it's old, and I don't see why a designer is needed in a Pong game unless of course that Pong game is open to design ideas.

Update:

For the small amount of work needed on this project, we have enough people.

We could still use artists though.
