I'm trying to export materials from Maya, and I've got just about everything that I need coming out of the Lambert family of materials (Phong, Blinn, Lambert). I've hit a snag though when trying to determine which UV Set a particular map is attached to. I can export the multiple UV sets on the mesh just fine, but for the life of me I can't find how to determine the name of the UV set a given map in a material is attached to, which is pretty essential for writing my shaders. I see that in Maya, when I link a map to a particular UV set, it creates a new node called 'uvChooser' in HyperShade, but even in Maya, this node is a bit cryptic as it doesn't display any information pertaining to the actual UV set. I've tried querying for different plugs, trying different strings that seem appropriate ("uvSet", "uvSetName", etc...), but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas on extracting the UV set name attached to the map? Thanks in advance...
