ODE problems in Dev-C++

Hi All, I am having some trouble getting ode to work with Dev-C++, I downloaded the library binaries, put the include files in my include directory, the libs in the lib directory, and it all works... up until the point where I do world = dWorldCreate();. I get an unhandled exception, and quite a long error message in the IDE. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I didnt compile the library from scratch, if someone knows how could you post a walkthrough for doing this? Or a link to a compiled lib that is known to work with Dev-C++? Here is the error message:
