I currently have my Windows Live ID registered under a certain e-mail address. If I change the e-mail address associated with the account, will I loose access to Windows Live One Care? Further more, will the new e-mail address automatically carry over to Windows Messenger? I'm somewhat keen to leave some people I talk to on there far behind, and don't want them to see my new e-mail address. x.x Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

Uh, did you email and ask Microsoft? Because they'd probably know, what with it being their system and all...

Also: loose != lose

No, I didn't--I was unaware that Microsoft had an e-mail address for questions like this.

OK...
  • Go to http://get.live.com/
  • Click 'Support' in the bottom left-hand corner
  • Click on 'Windows Live OneCare'
  • You can faff with the automated agent if you want, but if not, click 'Get More Help' in the bottom left-hand corner, then 'Get Support'
  • Enter your details, then ask your question. Microsoft Tech Support should get back to you.
That only took about 5 minutes to find. Asking on GameDev should generally be the last resort for this kind of thing; it ain't tech support.
