Team name: HeroicFantasyGames.com Project name: Knights of the Chalice. Brief description: This is a 2D, top-down, tile-based, single-player cRPG with party control, turn-based combat and retro graphics and music. There is a good storyline but the focus is on combat tactics. The game uses many of the rules found in Wizard of the Coast's Open Game Content, such as the rules on Attack of Opportunity, Charge, Whirlwind Attack and Coup de Grace. The game has been in development for around three years and it now needs original sound effects and music. Target aim: Free demo plus full game sold through Internet. Compensation: Yes, you will be paid. Technology: * Tile-based low-resolution graphics using DirectX 9 * MIDI music and wav sound effects. * Script-based dialogue. * A-star pathfinding. * Target system: PC with Windows XP & DirectX. * Programming language: C++ Talent needed: At the moment, I need a musician to produce: * 12 MIDI music loops, around 1 minute each. I will need exclusive rights for this. * 37 WAV sound effects (SFX). Preferably with a licence allowing me to use them in any game I make, not just one game. Please listen to these examples to better understand the kind of music/SFX I'm looking for. You may apply for both tasks or for just the music or the SFX.
