Hey. I recently found an old link to NVIDIA's archived whitepapers dating back to 1999 and the RIVA128. NVIDIA WhitePapers It took me a while to find these. Yeah, I know they're rather old, but I find them to be quite informative and teach a lot about how graphics work mathematically and can easily be ported from Direct3D7 to Direct3D9 or later. I think that these documents are a great read for new graphics programmers, regardless of their age. Alot of the techniques I would really like to learn how to implement in my games (i.e. vertex blending, volumetric explosions, and many more). Many of these demos by NVIDIA were open source. So I was wondering if anyone would know if NVIDIA still has these demos available for download with the source code? If so, any links? I figured if the documents were still available, them maybe the source code and demos would too. Thanks.
