Hi there I'm trying to implement shadow volumes into my engine, but in one of the steps you got to render the front and back faces of the shadow volume apart. Now, my question to you is what are the front and back faces and how do I render them seperatedly. Greetings Robin

Enable face culling and use glFrontFace(GL_CCW) and glFrontFace(GL_CW) to render the front and back faces. Read the documentation carefully and make sure all your polygons have the same winding.
EDIT: Have a look at the images here.
