Hi, this might be a silly question, but I am new to C# and I was wondering if it is possible to load a C# dll from C++ code? I want to make a user interface for my C++ program and I would like to use C# to make the forms. Thanks!

Then have your C# program use the C++ code from a dll. It won't work the other way around unless you have a C++ proxy dll between them AFAIK.

While it is certainly possible to load up the C# DLL and use it from C++, this requires you to use COM constructs and is rather complicated (to do it properly, you could also use a C++/CLR wrapper, however that has certain...issues).

But yes, it is doable.
In time the project grows, the ignorance of its devs it shows, with many a convoluted function, it plunges into deep compunction, the price of failure is high, Washu's mirth is nigh.
