where can i start learning the basics and more online or otherwise maybe theres a tutorial on this site i didnt find help is aprreciated :)

it depends. do you have a game engine? or are you using dx\ogl? do you know what is winsock? or more importantly, do you know programming?

The basics are programming fundamentals. Look at the "for beginners" forum. Browse through the archive of posts there and read the advice. Read the stickies, the FAQ, the appropriate sections of the gamedev site. Google.

And recognize that you aren't going to be programming an MMO anytime soon.
