Hello guys :) I'm a beginner to DX10 and some help from you. I have simple DX10 application with Stencil Buffer Enabled. I want to enable anti-aliasing. I set: DXGI_SWAP_CHAIN_DESC sd; sd.SampleDesc.Count = 2; // For example two sd.SampleDesc.Quality = 0; But I got Access violation when calling OMSetRenderTargets(); I had an idea that this happens because StencilTexture must have the same SampleDesc. But when I write: D3D10_DEPTH_STENCIL_VIEW_DESC descDSV; descDSV.SampleDesc.Count = 2; descDSV.SampleDesc.Quality = 0; CreateDepthStencilView() call fails. Any ideas how to combine both anti-alias and stencil in DX10 app?

Why does my application crash as soon as I enable MSAA?

Ensure you are enabling an MSAA sample count and quality number that actually are enumerated by the driver.
