Motivation
Hello I am thinking about new features for my little Game. Maybe YOU have a great Idea. What else could be done to make my Game 99 Seconds even more interesting? What kind of Game is it? It was inspired by Bejeweled 2. Nice Music, nice sounds, nice everything, easy rules. But after a few minutes I wished, I could also score diagonally and Things like that. I never played such simple Games very often or very long, because they become boring way to fast. But Bejeweled had Atmoshpere, the Soundtrack (from Skaven) is a great piece of Music. After googling around, trying to find (better) similar Games, I decided to try myself. It took about one Week of brainstorming and programming, then Version 0.5 was born. No Sounds, simple Graphics, but the Code was working fine. That was in early February. Until today many nice little Features were included. To make a long Story short, have a look at the HowToPlay on my Website, if you want to know more about 99 Seconds. http://99seconds.pb-club.de/ Maybe the Game has become a "little" more complex then Bejeweled. Special-Moves, Free-Moves, Jokers and Hidden-Timers bring it more to a strategic aspect and the " 99 " always plays a role within. The 8 Highscore Tables are another motivation (especially for women), I think ;) Some played over 4 hours and scored so many points, that I had to extend the amount of colored Blocks from 23 to 28 (instead of 7 in Bejeweled). So, what do YOU think? What else could make the Game more interesting? Until then Thomas
