Hi, I've got this problem. I have exported a terrain like a normal model file and openGL is rendering it wrongly. Here are some screenshots. half of the triangles not rendering Terrain close up A close up a normal model all I did here was to switch the terrain data file with the model data file Is it because of GL_TRIANGLE_FAN which I am using? Or is it that there is a difference in code to render models and landscapes? Or did I export the terrain wrongly? Thanks.

Have you tried using GL_TRIANGLE instead of GL_TRIANGLE_FAN?

I'm using OpenGL ES. I have tried all GL_TRIANGLES, GL_TRIANGLE_STRIP and GL_TRIANGLE_FAN.

All had the same results

SOLVED.

Sorry about the trouble I caused. There was something wrong with my exporter. They converted the coordinates to quads rather than triangles

Fixed.

Thanks
