I've been having a lot of fun creating &#106avascript games. It's easy to get into, especially comming from webdev and you can use Actionscript for (more flashy) Flash games.

It's probably one of the easiest ways to start making games right away and they're immediately accesible by anyone with a browser. With the Wii browser you can even experiment a little bit with motion controll.
