Brief description: The game will be an adventure game, which means in my book, that there are several puzzles to solve using and combining different objects that you find during the game. It will be 2d, but with 3d feeling, so you can walk "inwards" in the screen. I need someone who can draw nice surroundings that gives this feeling, and who is also quite active and fast. I have completed the inventory item management and character movement (click to move, with scaling when the character is further away) Target aim: Aim is to have fun making a game, and if it turns out very well, then that's good :). Compensation: If we get so far so the game can be sold, then you get a certain percentage depending how many are in the team. Technology: This game is for PC, i use SFML with C++ to program with. What you use for your art is up to you. Talent needed: 2d Artist, link your art in this thread. Team structure: 1: Me I am a fairly new programmer who now wants to make a game that actually looks good, and therefore i need a 2d Artist to assist me in this new project. Contacts: Email: jonny_fherm@hotmail.com Previous Work by Team: none Additonal Information: My picture of the game is that it should be similar to curse of monkey island / toonstruck / Discworld 2, so you can look up these games and see if that is anything you would like to draw or could draw. The story should take place in some sort of islands or something, with palm trees and beach + interesting houses etc. I don't have any specific story yet, just that there should be some bad guy probably, so there is some sort of goal to go towards. The character could be washed up on a small island in the beginning, not remembering what has happened, and need to build a boat to get off the small island to the main island or something. These are just some ideas. Reply here if you are interested, and post your work. Clip of the movement and inventory. Keep in mind these are just temporary images until i find a 2d artist.:
