Those are excellent products if you want to get into game creation without a programming background. But it depends on your goals really.

There are plenty of free tools out there. I would recommend not investing money into a hobby until you know first-hand what it involves.

dang 50 pounds is that? what 60 dollars or 100? i dont know the conversion rate.
