So, I was wonder what technology/language you people would suggest that would be easy enough for a 12 year-old to learn in order to create simple web games, like space invaders, tetris, etc? If the programming bug bites, I may move him on to XNA, but I want to keep the introduction as simple as could be. Flash? Java? Any other that I am not aware of? Thanks for your time! Tuppe

HTML5 and &#106avascript!<br><br>A 12 year old want to see results fast. So HTML's canvas tag will give him a lot to play with while seeing the result immediatly. No boiler plate code to display a simple sprite, no IDE, no compiler, just a browser and a text editor is enough.<br><br>
