Team name:
Enigma Game Studio (only our groups name, not an official business)

Brief description:
We are a team of people throughout the world who enjoy making games as a hobby. We are always looking for more talent and hope to make great games in the future. We plan to start very small to prove our team can work together and slowly building more advanced concepts as our team grows and gains experience. Our mission statement per say is "Have Fun Making Fun Games". Slightly borrowed statement made by Jeff Tunnel's Blog makeitbigingames.com.

Target aim:
Looking for anyone and everyone interested in getting into game development. We are trying to build a team which does not need to depend on any one person to succeed. Since this is a hobby group right now, that is difficult, so the more people we have contributing small amounts of work the better.

Compensation:
No payment. Unless in the future we put our games on an iPhone or something. Then compensation will be based on a percentage of the amount of work you put in. Again, this is a hobby group, so we are not doing this for financial gain at this point.

Technology:
We are using XNA and Unity 3d for the projects we have worked on so far.
We also use Joomla and a Trac Server for configuration management/SVN.

Talent needed:
We needed some dedicated C# or Unity3d Programmers. experience level does not need to be great, but the more the merrier.

Team structure:
Me: Management, Programming. I have a computer engineering degree, and have taken a couple classes towards a computer science master's degree. Mainly focusing on Software Development. I've working in large government programs as a software architect for business type software. Main computer language is Java and C#.

Dal: Lead programmer. Computer Science Major finishing bachelor's degree in Norway. Has current and past experience building small games in small teams. Also knows many languages such as C#, Java, &#106avascript. Plus a few others.<br/><br/>Nitin: Finishing his computer science degree in California. Specializes in C# and Unity3d.<br/><br/>Joe: Composer. Does the music and sound effects. <br/><br/>Nomis: Artist, also in college getting his art degree. Very creative and constantly coming up with ideas.<br/><br/><b>Website:</b><br/><a href="http://www.enigmagamestudio.com">Enigma Game Studio</a> <br/><br/><br/><b>Contacts:</b><br/>enigmagamestudio@live.com<br/><br/><b>Previous Work by Team:</b><br/>The website above shows our working website. We do not have current projects that our team has completed but each of us has dabbled on our own. We're trying to bring the right people together to make a game actually get completed so we can put something else in this block of our post! :)<br/><br/><b>Additional Info:</b><br/>In case it wasn't clear above. We are currently scrapping our current idea and going back to very basic. We plan to do a brick breaker game and them move forward from there. This will hopefully be a very simple and quick project so we can start improving and doing more in depth games.<br/><br/><b>Feedback:</b><br/>ANY<br/>

hi there,

could you please state your idea for the game you want to develop. Is the game puzzle, rpg or what? and one more thing, isn't unity3d paid?

and about myself, apart asking too many question, i am C# developer(my full-time job) and hobbyist game developer. recently i made couple of small games(for practice) using XNA, you can check them out if you track my recent post in "Your announcements" section of the forum.

Well, we're trying to find people to work for the long term in a hobby group. So the projects will hopefully change. Right now, we are looking at a Brick Break Out type game to develop our team and prove a method that will work for us all. Check out our website and let me know if you're interested.

I'm curious the reason why your previous game(the one featured on the website) isn't being finished, seemed like it had some promise with a lil bit of art.

I am interested in seeing what this hobby group is all about though, i poke around in many areas of game design, including 3d modeling, programming, writing, and concept art. priv msg me or contact on aim, i'd like to hear more
Set your goals high and you'll always have something to reach for.
