Hi,
I'm about to learn Open-GL, and my first task is to develop a very small car race game where the drivers view through the front window should be enough.

Where to start. I've bought the "bible" (red book).
Anyone have anything simular?

If you want help you're going to have to have a better question than "I have no clue".

Also if you're about to learn OpenGL you might be better off with some tutorials first rather than this task.

Where are the best tutorials?
...remember I know only a little bit C++

Depending on how much is a "little bit" of C++, you may want to brush up more on that first. That said, I found this blog to give a pretty good introduction to modern OpenGL development. I also picked up OpenGL Superbible 5th edition and have found it to be a good way to learn modern OpenGL (version >= 3.2). Other than that, Google and the wiki and reference pages on http://www.opengl.org/ have been enough to get me through any problems I come across.
