Hi,

Over the summer I found myself some spare time. I decided to spend it somewhat usefull. So I create a this tiny game. But there is something missing. Few years back, when I was at high school I played Call of Duty in a clan. We can say I played it "competitively" (against other teams in leagues and tournaments.). At that time before the match my teammates and I, we were playing this simple game where you have to click on target ASAP when you miss there is some penalty and when you didnt hit soon enought certain number of targets you loose. This game worked perfectly to warm you up before CoD match so you have been used to mouse speed and you have been focused and in the "synergy with your mouse" . And now we are getting to the problem. At that time this game was catchy. We were able to spend hours playing it, thinking that we are working on our CoD skill. So I have made this game Link to the game and something is missing. I dont know why but game is not fun. Can you see where I missed something? I would appreciate if you can give me some points on how to give it an edge or to pin point some gaps in game desing.

Thanks for your ideas.

I think it might be because of the shifting size of the target. First it grows (gets easier), then it shrinks (gets harder), next disappears. This is not nice from psychological point of view. Should I wait till it grows optiomally before shooting? And there is double punishment for being slow, if you are skilled the games get easier if you are unskilled the game gets harder (so it is a snowball effect).
