Vacation Quest
Brief description:
I'm a musician and my friends include an artist and a writer. We have been working on the concept for a little over a month and hope to complete the project within a few more months. The game starts out with you winning a huge sum of money, the only condition for claiming it being that you have to spend a week at a resort on an asteroid. The resort is filled with oddball characters: mostly previous winners of the jackpot. Slowly but surely, you uncover the dark secrets of the resort... mainly that it is run by an alien death-cult, which views all winners of the jackpot as their next messiah... which they intend on eating!
Target aim:
Web-based freeware
Compensation:
No pay for any of us; just for fun and for our portfolios.
Technology:
We were thinking of using Flash, but if you want to program this project, I'd say the engine is up to you.
Talent needed:
Programmer, ideally a proficient one... but we're not too fussy.
Team structure:
Myself - A software-based musician, currently also working on a paid project.
C. - A talented 2D artist.
A. - A very creative writer, tons of great ideas.
