Changing color background

There is a way to do this? The white background is very irritating to the eyes when I am in a fairly dark environment (which is all the cases of myself acessing it). There is a way to use the old blue background?

That's the million dollar question... there are several older threads about this in this particular forum if you want to read what the Staff said. Basically, it's on the back burner in favor of site functionality.
