Whats Your Type?

We did this one a while back, but hey, no harm in doing it again. I go for techno and hip-hop.

I'm open to anything besides country, soft rock, smooth jazz, and pop (or whatever it is groups such as N'Sync go into). Even though I'm open to all kinds of music, I generally don't listen to everything. Right now I'm mainly listening to different forms of rock and hip-hop.

My current short list of songs I'm listening to include "Everlong" by Foo Fighters, "Catch the Sun" by Doves, "San Diego Zoo" by the 6ths, "Crystal" by New Order, "C'mon" by Rustic Overtones, "Mastermind" by Deltron 3030, and "Technical Difficulties" by Pharcyde.

Punk, death metal...

My favorite bands, most are punk, are:

The Ataris, Blink182, LagWagon, No Use for a Name, Less than Jake, Tool and A Perfect Circle ( basically the same ), MxPx, and all of the other punk stuff... New Found Glory.. etc.

Rap is just the worst thing ever.... it all sounds the same.... saying "rap music" is an oxymoron. Raps not music.. its the words of a millionaire who claims to have lived in Newark his/her whole life...

I used to listen to rap... when it made sense, and wasn''t about how many "bitches" and "hoes" they "popped" in the last few weeks...

Rap is like java.... useless.

You''re thinking of popular rap, like the stuff they play on MTV. Take a listen to Deltron 3030, Jurassic 5, Pharcyde, Swollen Members, and Del the Funky Homosapien.

I like all types of music as there are good songs from all of them. Rap and Country I find are the least likely places to find something I like. Alternative and hard rock are the best.

Bands like Op Ivy, NoFX, Dropkick Murpheys, Bouncing Souls, Less Than Jake, Real Big Fish, DHC, The Toasters, Rancid, Naked Agression....

I also like rap, but not as many (groups?).
E-40, the Click, NWA, various stuff I listen to in friends'' cars.

basically underground UK metal with none of that crappy deck scratching or samples to ruin it.

most people in the "scene" dont like raging speedhorn anymore after they whored themselves onto every major UK tour this year (i still like them, but only cuz their music makes me laugh).
