Why am I limited to 5 images for a journal post?

Hello,

I have posted 2 journal posts so far, and in each one I encountered a 5 images limit.

I have tested it, I didn't make any mistakes. Starting with the 6th image, the [img] tag automatically converts to [url]. When I add a new image before one of the working images, the last one stops working and becomes a link. And journal posts from others have more than images.

So this is definitely a restriction for my account, how do I lift it?. I couldn't find any information about it.

Not aware of a limitation on tags. In the tag are you referencing an external (non gamedev.net) url or an uploaded image?

I have encountered the same problem with my Journal posts.

This is a very strange limitation, and to my knowledge the first time it's been reported. And you're just trying to inline embed the images in the post right?

We have settings for the max number of gallery images allowed in a post (20) and the max per row (5), but there may be a code issue if a blog post can't include more than 5 tags..

I should have added we'll figure this out. Sorry for the inconvenience. This is a surprisingly poor limitation we need to resolve.

Figured out the issue. It's been resolved (up to 20 images).
