My comp busted. p3 700 192m. not overclocked. Dual boot; win98, 2k. Won''t even run 2k, will sometimes run 98, but on safe mode. Got an error during bootup: cmos fucked up. I hit delete, went to check the cmos, and it was restarted to january 1 2000, as was the internal clock.
When displaing to the screen, there are weird lines on the screen. I can maybe send you a screen capture if I can(how do u include files in here?)
I opened my case, and I noticed I only have one fan on the mutherboard: the cpu, unlike the athlon at school, who has one for the cpu, and one for the main muthbord cpu(where it''s written soyo on it.) could it be of over heating?
I don''t think so; it''s been a year that I have it.
Neways, how it happened: I went to the doctor leaving my comp open(3-4 hours)(all the lights in my room(which are all attached to the same plug than my comp) where on(I never leave both on when I''m away). When I came back, my screen saver was frozen, with glitches(erroneous display?). Then I restarted my comp, and 2k wouldn''t load.
On toppa that, my right hand is fractured. cool eh?
