Just to make the opening screen with the “latest” list (i allways land there on start) more relevant, would it be a good idea and possible to exclude lounge threads from that list ?
Not that i'm having problems with these, but if i wanted to participate, i would have to actively go there and have more relevant topics in first sight.
We've gone back and forth on this over the years. I'll consider it, although the future direction of the home page may influence whether that's really needed or not.
I don't mind Lounge posts showing up in “Latest.” What I dislike is seeing “Hey check out this game I'm helping with their SEO efforts” posts all the time, and “Click the link and view my vlog on my website" posts in the “Latest” list.
But I also realize that pretty much everything needs to show up in “Latest.”
I liked the way the old site worked, but The Times They Are A-Changin', as Bob Dylan famously said.
