So we are a start up Indie, and we are looking for someone to fill this role, but our budget is very limited.

right now we have a volonteer rev share position, but should we change it to paid?

We need someone to review our budget and game pitch and proposal.

If we needed to pay, how much is standard for such a service?

We anticipate needing them no more than 5 hours a week if that.

We had one applicant so far but he backed out due to other commitments.

You absolutely need to pay the accountant. If you can't afford an accountant, you're not really in business.
