I am interested in the proof of convergence for the Projected Gauss-Seidel Solver iterative method for game physics problems. Could you recommend where I can read about it? I am also interested in the convergence rate. The standard Gauss-Seidel method converges under strict conditions on the system of linear equations, and it’s unclear how the system in this problem satisfies those conditions.

As I understand it, the standard Gauss-Seidel method differs from the projected one in that it clips the values of the system’s arguments to an interval at each step.
