Hey everyone,

I’m building URoom, a room-based video community platform, and I’m trying to understand if it could be useful for indie game developers.

The idea is that a developer could create a dedicated room for their game and use it as a public hub for:

  • devlog videos

  • trailers and gameplay clips

  • update videos

  • archived progress

  • community discussion through room chat

  • a simple shareable page for people following the project

Instead of having everything scattered across YouTube, Twitter/X, Discord, Reddit, and forum posts, the game would have one room where its video history and community can live together.

Example:

I’m still building and improving it, so I’m looking for feedback from developers:

Would this be useful for your game project?
What would it need before you’d consider using something like this?
