Hi everyone,

I've released Origami, a small rhythm game inspired by Japanese culture and the art of paper folding. It combines origami with one-button rhythm gameplay: follow the music, time each fold, and watch a three-dimensional paper model take shape.

Your timing affects both your score and the finished folds. Replaying a stage lets you work on your rhythm and refine the result. This is a stylized rhythm game, not a step-by-step guide to folding real paper.

You can play a complete Crane stage for free in your browser: 32 folds in 76 seconds, with no download required.

The full Windows version is $1.50 USD and includes 12 stages, all available from the start: Cicada, Samurai Helmet, Dove, Pinwheel, Frog, Whale, Paper Balloon, Crane, Lotus, Lily, Dragon, and Peacock.

Each stage has a different music track. The game also includes separate music and beat volume controls, eight note colors, and timing adjustment. The interface is in English, and the Windows application can be played offline.

Controls are Space, left click, or tap to fold, and Escape to pause. For Windows, extract the entire ZIP and run Origami.exe from the extracted folder. The build is not code-signed; the free browser demo is available to try without downloading it.

AI tools assisted the graphics, text, and code workflow. Music is by Kevin MacLeod under CC BY 4.0, with track and edit credits in the pause menu.

I'd welcome feedback on whether the timing cues feel clear and how the paper-folding presentation works as a rhythm-game mechanic.
