Win -> Mac
Can you run Win32/DirectX programs on the Mac?
If not, can you do something to be able to in an unexpensive way, other than learning how to program macs?

Not directly. There are, however, programs such as Virtual PC, which allow you to run Windows (and hence Win32 appliations) on your Mac.
ReactOS - an Open-source operating system compatible with Windows NT apps and drivers
Is it a free download or does it cost something?

Try Bochs, a free open source, multi-platform x86 emulator (I don''t think they have mac binaries, you''ll have to download the source along with the mac build file from the "all releases" page). Using bochs you can run any x86 operating system (Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP, Linux, etc)
Thanks, I''ll try that!

Yes, you can do something, learn OpenGL. OGL works nicely on Macs. Oh yeah, one other thing, get to know google or yahoo, they are your friends. Use them!
"And that's the bottom line cause I said so!"
