Does anyone know what does this function do? Why do i have to call it before passing World/View/Projection matrix to my vertex shader assembly?

It takes your column vectors and makes them into row vectors and vice versa i.e.

input matrix:
AB
XY

output matrix:
AX
BY

Haven''t worked with shaders yet but you transpose non-uniform scaling matrix to go from one space to other then transpose and you go back to original space. Transpose is quicker to calculate than full matrix inverse. ''Real-Time Rendering'' book has whole section on this.

Ah, so thats what that does! I have always wondered what a transpose matrix was, and what the math was behind it. I was thinking that it was some sort of horribly complicated matrix mess.
