We keep seeing questions about which programming books are best. Someone ought to create an article reviewing all the major game programming books out, with a detailed comparison of each. George. "Who says computer games affect kids, imagine if PacMan affected us as kids, we'd all sit around in a darkened room munching pills and listening to repetitive music....uh oh!"

Yep it''s in the book review section, too bad people don''t see all the features this excellent site has to offer... especially the programming reference section, it has a lot of invaluable information.

Im not intrested in buying a book just now (I''ve got no money), its just that loads of people have been posting questions about books recently.

I want to mention that I am almost finished with a major overhaul of the books section. Besides having more than twice as many books, it will allow registered users to post reviews and rankings for each book, much like Amazon does now. The system would have been done a little while ago, but I decided midway to expand it to be flexible enough to include other products, such as compilers, middleware, hardware, etc.
