I can see games with simple networking requirements using the Web Services interfaces as a type of RPC. I can see integrating ''high score'' features as web services. There are a bunch of little ''neat'' features that could be added more quickly using some of the new technology, but I don''t see any real ''groundbreaking'' advancement for game development. Except for easier scripting integration with the option to compile scripts into MSIL or native code... that''s going to be a neat one.
