Stoner rock

I don''t hear much stoner rock on the radio or music channels, and I don''t often hear people mention stoner rock bands. So I just wanted to see if anyone here does listen to it. I''ve been listening to it for a little while now, and it''s one of my favorite forms of rock. For those of you unfamiliar with stoner rock, I''ll try giving a brief explanation. I can''t really describe the sound of it beyond saying that it uses distorted guitar sounds (think Jimmi Hendrix), but won''t necessarily be true for all stoner rock bands. I find that it works well for driving music; Fu Manchu is one band that sings about driving and cars. Some stoner rock bands are Fu Manchu, Atomic Bitchwax, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss.
