I have a color gradient in the vertex color of the vertices of a plane, and a material with both diffuse and ambient set to white. I set no texture to draw the mesh with the diffuse color. I also set all the D3DRS_*MATERIALSOURCE (like D3DRS_DIFFUSEMATERIALSOURCE) to D3DMCS_MATERIAL. But no matter what I do, the vertex color always show up instead of the white from the material. I tried with both lighting on and off. Same thing with D3DRS_COLORVERTEX. ---------------- Blaster Computer game programmer and part time human being Strategy First - http://www.strategyfirst.com BlasterSoft - http://www.blastersoft.com
