Kudos Games Services expands leadership team with Testronic and Team17 execs

Briefing

Kudos Games Services has strengthened its leadership bench with two hires aimed squarely at scaling its QA operation. Michael Hanna, formerly on Testronic’s management board, is now chief operating officer, and Ann Hurley, who has held senior roles including general manager at Team17, joins as board advisor.

Hanna’s remit is operational: he’ll focus on delivery capability, scalability, and international expansion. That matters for studios that rely on external QA partners, because the difference between a small service shop and a dependable global vendor is usually process, capacity planning, and consistency across regions.

Hurley will handle commercial strategy and help broaden Kudos’ client base. Her background on the publishing side should be useful in a market where QA vendors are increasingly expected to do more than run test passes—they need to integrate cleanly with production schedules, support multiple platforms, and flex with changing release plans.

Kudos was founded in 2020 alongside digital agency Dunetech and now employs more than 100 staff across the UK and Tunisia. The company already works with Bandai Namco, Warner Bros, Silver Lining Interactive, PQube, Curve Games, and Antstream, so this leadership push looks like a move to turn an established service line into a larger international business.

“The opportunity now is to scale that capability in a structured and sustainable way.”
