Draft of new EU law proposes sweeping restrictions on online games

GamesIndustry.biz reports that a draft EU KIDS Act could impose broad new limits on online games, including rules aimed at discouraging excessive play and tightening contact between minors and other users. The proposal may also force parental controls, age assurance, and more scrutiny of virtual currency and reward systems across EU releases.
