Hey everyone! Today's dev blog isn't actually that much of a dev blog. Instead, it's going to be more of an “introduction” (for lack of a better word) to the game for those who don't know what it is. Let's get started!

What is NightRose?

NightRose is an RPG video game that I am currently developing. It takes inspiration from classics like EarthBound and Chrono Trigger, but it also has a lot of originality. It follows the journey of a young girl who is thrown into a world of conflict, fear, and sadness. If you want to actually read about the plot, check out some of my other dev blogs.

What makes NightRose special?

With a unique combat system, a deep, character-driven story and tons of hilarious dialogue, NightRose is truly different from other RPGs. With its crazy cast of characters, numerous plot twists, and hysterical enemies and bosses, you'll never quite know what's going to happen next.

When can I expect to be able to play NightRose?

I can't give a definitive release date, but I hope to be able to release it within a year or so.
