Shadow Volume Problems
Greetings To EveryOne that is going to read this.
I have a problem with the shadow volumes.
1 . When i finallized the shadow volumes via the stencil buffer
and with the help of the "Carmack''s reverse" , I notice that a
quad follow the camera all the time , when i''m in the shadow volume.
I read in the robust stencil shadow pdf of the nvidia about
the "Caps of the Volume" so i draw them.Now if i draw the shadow volume
is closed from up and down,but the regtangle follow me every time i go
in the shadow volume.
2 . The other problem is that the shadow volume cut off all the
polygons across his direction,with result that the second floor has
a shadow from the first shadow volume.
Is the problem that i''m using gluLookAt and not glTranslate.
Why i never found a source code or a tutorial that somebody uses gluLookAt.
All the tutorials that i found either the camera not moving into the
shadow volume,eiter the camera not moving into the shadow volume and the
movement (out of the shadow volume -- It has Limitations) was done by glTranslatef.
Sorry for my BAD BAD BAD English but i hope that you get what is the problem.
