hi all.. painter 3d and raydream 5 ,could some one please tell me what these programs are good for ,or should i just stick with bryce4? thanks..
Painter 3D lets you paint directly onto 3d objects. It makes your textures and stuff for you.

I haven''t used Bryce much, but I know that is more suited for scenary (in my opinion) than Ray Dream. Ray Dream works good (compared to Bryce) for modeling objects, and animating them.

Yes, I have used all of these programs, although I haven''t used bryce much. If you really want to do good 3d modeling/animation, you need something like Maya, 3D Studio Max, or Lightwave.
