I''m all for it, there''s not much on the subject so a solid article would be great.

Hi rapidstunna,
Great idea, it would make an awesome read. I would like to request that you provide some benchmarks to the performance increases, and, if at all possible, demonstrate the differences for different systems. (eg, a particle system, a whole bunch of animated models, a terrain landscape, a fullfledged fps, a racing game, whatever you can get your hands on..)

I have been implementing batching in my engine, but pritty much just implementing things that I think would make it faster - I have no real clue whether what im doing is making things faster overall, or just for the specific test case im working with. (maybe you could even go into how to best design your engine to take advantage of batching (and scheduling algorithms, and whatnot)

So yeah, some benchmarks accross a number of examples would be very very usefull for me. (perhaps even accross multiple video cards? - if you have them..)
