hi guys. I'm programing with vbscript and I create a folder that contains a document with the description of the product and when the user click in other product i do again the folder with the document and some times with images at the same time, and in the end of the page i want to have a link to download the folder, but how can i do this if the user can´t download a folder. I accept all sugestions

Is this a remote application? Web-based (ASP, perhaps)?

The basic premise to 'download' a folder (assuming it's not web-based) would be to create a folder on the user's machine and then in your server-side code iterate all files and folders one at a time, passing the information to the client for downloading.

Assuming it *is* web-based, you'd again need some client side script that's able to create directories on the user's machine and save files. This would require all sorts of security permission changes these days so isn't recommended. Another solution would be to zip a directory and let the user download that.

yes you are right it's a asp web-based.

my problem is create a zip file, i search how to do a zip file with asp, but i find many components that some can be paied and others not, an in the server i can't install this components. if anyone know some object that can be used it's great for me.
