Here is how people from around the world negotiate a deal: USA: Come - look - check the price - Say "How'ya'll doin'?" - Make a cell phone call or two - Shell out credit card and close the deal! Germany: Come - look - check the price - Say nothing - Don't call anyone - Pay with Eurocard. Italy: Come - Greet everybody around you for some 15 minutes - Sing a Serenade - Remember that you were here to make a negotiation - look - think - discuss the price for half an hour - leave without buying or closing the deal. Turkey: Come - Greet and bow, hand to heart - look in disgust - Scream - Discuss the price some more - Critisize the US and Bush - Lower price three times - Make a joke about Ali Baba - Lower the price another 50% (last call!) - Pay with bundle of old bills, thicker than a brick. Any other ideas?
