I can't believe they're serious (in game pizza ordering)

It would help those folks that have already had their vocal cords atrophy from no use. Though most of the people I know that are hopelessly addicted to Everquest 1 or 2 already have an I.V. and a catheter, or at least a feeding tube.

They would have to order at night though, otherwise when they answered the door the sun would burn them to a crisp.

Are you serious? My vocal cords could atrohpy??? Gripes, I need to talk more.

I've never ordered Pizza via the internet before.

This is not cool. They should have made some sort of place where you can go with your avatar and order the pizza directly from the game.

People sometimes eat pizza, its not that big a deal. If you're ordering it through Everquest every day, then there's a problem.

Personally, I'd certainly take advantage of this in many games. I do all my pizza ordering online, because I hate talking to people over the phone. Most games I play aren't terribly easy to tab away from because of my memory being so tiny, so an in game solution would be great. Of course, if it just launches your web browswer and switches me out of the game anyhow, then its a waste of time.

Uh yeah. Ordering and eating a pizza when you're playing a game is no big deal at all.

Hmmm, imagine how lucrative a streaming MP3 service would be. You pay for a few tracks and they're streamed along as part of the game for you to listen to. It could manifest itself as an in-game radio station or something.

That's great. The only problem I can see is that you still have to move out of your chair to actually go to the door and get the pizza when the guy comes. I guess one solution would be to leave my front door permanantly open...

Or Vitamin D supplements that you can order from in game, so that you don't have the deleterious effects of not getting enough sunlight.

I should add I've done it before several times (ordered a pizza on the internet).

Usually when we're playing UT2004 with a few friends at my house.

I am not the slightest bit fat or unhealthy. Nor are any of my friends. I'm 30 years old, I'm married, and am not a social Pariah of any kind.

Amazing, huh?

Makes sense. Plus you can target the adverts pretty well being that it's across a particular type of game. So, free streaming MP3s to all players with short ad breaks after each song. I reckon it'll be done [at some point]
