Amazing new gadget that will "upgrade" your audio CDs "in the blink of an eye". I mailed the inventor and asked him if the Intelligent Chip would also remove all bugs from my WinXP disc. He replied that

the chip will work on any type of digital disc, including video DVDs and such. The chip apparently addresses a particular problem in the digital discs which I'm fairly certain is actually in the Disc *material* itself not in the data. I.e., the data on the CD or DVD is not changed by the chip, only the polycarbonate and maybe the metal layer. The change in the material allows the laser reading process to be more accurate.
