Hi, my full name is Rick Appleton (funnily enough ;) ) and although I'm not currently living anywhere near London, I'll be moving to Oxford in two months.

I'm currently working on my thesis project for a MSc in Aerospace Engineering. When I move to Oxford I'll be working for a games studio mainly doing games for mobile consoles.

Yarr! Oxford lad, me, but close enough that attending meets in London makes sense. As I have demonstrated.

Hey Jason Here, (duh ;) )

I live in a little village called Effingham, its very near guildford though. I was going to make a guildford group before any groupes existed but I saw this one and thought it would be more popular and better organised than what I can do :P

I too have a direct train to London Waterloo and live jsut outside the M25, I've been through egham before in a train, wow!

I goto brooklands college, in weybridge; in my second year now, not sure what i'm doing next year yet but one thing is for sure I have a long summer coming up!

Hello people, I'm James (not Dave - no interesting story behind the name..), 20 years of age, live in a small town called Borehamwood just outside the M25 with direct train access to the shite-hole that is London.

Im just finishing up a multimedia communications degree at herts uni, might stay on to do a masters but meh dunno yet.

I'm Joshua Karjala. Apparently the onl person living in London. I currently live beween Camden and Kings Cross. Not the most intresting area but onl 15min busride from "everywhere". I'm currently finishing the first year of an MSci in Computer Science at UCL. But will be going for a gap year in Monreal, Canada in August. I've been living in London for about 1.5 years but grew up in Denmark and USA.

I live out in the sticks somewhat in a mostly forgotten town called Ipswich, however being about 90mins away from london by direct train this be the best group for me, yarr!

Currently unemployed however I'm currently sorting out funding for a return to collage to do a Software Engineering degree so I can get a bit of paper to say how good I am [grin], if everything goes well I'll be starting that in sept.

The last unoffical meeting we had in london, back in nov. of last year and organised by Superpig, was basically a bunch of guys wandering around london looking for something todo [grin]
We did however cover quiet a few topics in various discussions which accured on the tube, buses, a bowling alley and in a restuant at the end of the day [grin]

I keep seeing this pop up.. so here goes. I'm Chris, I live about 40 minutes away from London (by train), in a village called Alconbury, near a craphole called Huntingdon (was in the 10 worst cities and towns in England book). I might have to go to London for work soon.. *groan*.

To be fair, we did have a vague plan when we started out - find a pub and drink in it for a bit, then go play Quazar or something, then find another pub and resume drinking. The problem really cropped up when people started saying things like "It's too early to go drinking", and when we went to the Quazar place I'd found it turned out that not booking was a real mistake...

heh, ok ok, fair point, but either way it was still a laff [grin]
